University project – part 1

Hi,
First of all let me tell you that I had updated my blog software to it’s latest version and because of this action, the site has about some hours of down time.
Any way, as the title of post showing, I’m working on my university project which is simulating the action of internet backbone (in ISPs or at least part of it).
As I talked with my professor, he said I can use any kind of router or simulation software as long as I can configure them with RIP and OSPF, so I’m start using VMware ESXi as host and Vyatta Routers (V6) as router for this action and I hope I can get a good result (if I can’t get the best one).
I’ll post more information about soon after achieving some point in the middle of project.
Like always any idea or comments are welcome.
